This is my 4th year with Hempstead Elementary.  I am currently teaching 4^th Grade Math. 

This is my 27^th year in teaching. I started teaching in 1994. Most of my years have been in the 3^rd Grade, though I have also taught 2^nd and 4^th Grades as well as have been an Instructional Coach/Math Interventionist for 3 years. I taught for 10 years in San Antonio, TX at Southside ISD, 13 years in Navasota, TX at Navasota ISD and now 4 years with Hempstead ISD.  

I am married to Michael Hazel.  We have 4 children, 2 boys and 2 girls. My youngest one is still in high school in Navasota, TX , she is a Junior. We have 1 dog, a german shephard named Kawhi. I have two adorable grandbabies and another on the way...Aydn is nearly 6, Sage is nearly 4, and the baby is expected in January.  

I love to read and do crafts. I am a huge football fan and I love to watch anything that has to do with the Dallas Cowboys. And I love to spend time with my family, especially my grandchildren.
